If you caught Rustic Chic Part 1 last week I know you're waiting for the second installment where I promised you a good dose of color and of course gobs of inspiration.  Here it all is so beautifully photographed by  Elena Tihonovs of Fairy Daily in France. Originally this post ran on the French Wedding Blog,  "La mariée en Colère,  I particularly love how they've worked out the styling here--denim jackets over frothy tulle and lace skirts paired up with one-of-a-kind floral mixes in the bouquets.  Next up the desert and candy bar has a country charm with all the elegance of a display of fine pastries and drink.If I could do it all over again, I think this editorial would certainly be one of  my inspiration points....

Aren't you totally in love with the locale of this wedding?  Plus there are so many minute and thoughtful details to Meghan and Joshua's plantation wedding; mixing in opposing elements actually worked here: Meghan's ultra-fem gown has a chic and at the same time capricious elegance that compliments the perky sherbet color scheme. Photographer Carmen Ash has so beautifully captured the charm of Litchfield Plantation in South Carolina incorporating all the majestic feel of the land while blending whimsical elements of the decor. The ceremony happened under the shade of massive oaks, dripping moss and hanging lanterns. Very Southern and I only wish I had been there . . . .

Every so often I get a real treat via my inbox.  This beautifully photographed rustic shoot by Elena Tihonovs of Fairy Daily came to me through Nathalie of  "La mariée en Colère, an incredible French wedding blog.  I'm particularly loving the details especially the sand flooring and how so many elements though close to nature have a certain sophistication and originality going on. A CLOUD OF TULLE

What could say bridal more than a cloud of soft tulle? Tulle is that fine mesh netting with a hexagonal pattern that comes in silk, cotton, nylon or acrylic/silk for power netting. Tulle is familiar because its the standard material for bridal veils. But did you know it comes in lighter versions and is used in bouffant skirts. The one pictured above proffers that ballerina look Vera Wang popularized a few years back? While the big tulle skirt is classic, edgier versions of late suggest special effects like draping, ruching and pick-up treatments over more modified skirt silhouettes. There are many different tulles and uses of it. These images show some stunning examples.
