BHLDN: We look for design talent with a shared passion... a shared passion for the customers we design
for, an appreciation for the past but still decidedly modern and always great attention to detail. Our varied design collective provides a layered, multi-faceted aesthetic our customers come to us for. We currently work with talent from the US, France, Italy, Spain, India, Japan, and Australia, to name a handful.
BRIDE CHIC: As a designer I'm curious. Where do your wedding dress designers and creative team find their inspiration?
BHLDN: Our travels certainly influence our aesthetic but our brides are our ultimate inspiration. There’s nothing we love more than seeing a real bride in our designs. It’s fascinating to see how each individual bride styles herself to look completely different from the next!
BRIDE CHIC: Can you give us a hint or vision of where BHLDN be moving fashion-wise within the next few seasons?
BHLDN: We don't want to give away all our surprises! But the wedding dress rack in our office is currently brimming with layers and layers of gauzy silks and cottons, delicate eyelash edged laces and burnished metallic detailing.
BRIDE CHIC: Will BHLDN bridal collections be in all Anthropologie stores soon? I really wanna browse when I'm out and about town . . .
BHLDN: We have no immediate plans as of now…but it’s on our radar as a possibility!
BRIDE CHIC: Will we be seeing any new designers at BHLDN the next few seasons perchance?
BHLDN: Yes! We have been very busy working some incredibly inspiring talent for our Spring 13 gown collection. Stay tuned!
